Tatreez Threader Earrings | Evergreen & Papaya | Birds

These threader earrings carry a single square of beadwork at the front of the chain. The square is woven in a 9 × 9 grid, and within that grid the asafir motif takes shape — a bird, read through the arrangement of beads.

Asafir is Arabic for "birds." It's one of the motifs found in Ramallah Tatreez, where figurative images are built from geometric grids rather than drawn freely.

The square is hand-stitched in Miyuki Delica beads using square stitch — a technique that locks each bead into place and gives the beadwork a flat, even finish. The chain is 304L stainless steel cable chain, thin enough to thread easily through the ear. It's hypoallergenic, resistant to tarnishing, and built for daily wear.

The colour palette blends evergreen, pale turquoise, rose and papaya orange. Cool and warm together. The turquoise and rose soften it, the papaya lifts it.

Wear them on their own for a light, moving finish at the ear. The chain threads through the piercing and hangs freely at both ends — 45mm at the front, 55mm at the back.
