I am an Iraqi-Palestinian-Jordanian jewelry designer, and the founder of Asherah Jewellery. I specialize in creating handmade beaded jewelry that honors and celebrates Palestinian Tatreez.

AND THIS IS MY STORY
I'm a Palestinian who's never set foot in my homeland. I was raised on stories, flavors, and Palestinian Tatreez as means to develop a connection with a country I've never seen. And I'm not alone. There are millions of Palestinians like me out there.
Two years ago, I found myself facing an excruciatingly stressful period in my life, including what felt like a premature mid-life crisis. It was during this challenging time that I turned to bead weaving as a coping mechanism. Then, a light bulb moment struck—what if I could incorporate a craft form that resonated deeply with my identity into my bead weaving? After testing this concept and finding success, I made the decision to turn it into a business.
My goal is simple: to reach as many people as possible who crave that same connection, and to find another means of honoring and preserving Palestinian Tatreez.

I purchased this in-person and oh my goodness the pictures do not do it justice. I thought this bracelet would initially be too big for me because I have fairly small wrists but it’s actually beautiful. And the colour is perfectly neutral that you can pair it with any outfit!

I love my bracelet so much. It is of high-quality, and even though I was advised not to sleep in it, or take a shower, still wearing it, I did not head the advice. However, despite that, the bracelet has not lost its color or beads as it is very well made. Zeina is extremely professional in her dealings with customers. And her knowledge of the patterns is inspirational. I enjoy wearing it every day. And I recommend checking out all the other bracelets from Asherah. The colors and the designs are super cool and very meaningful.
