Collection: Ramallah Collection

Ramallah, often called "The Bride of the Summer Resorts," due to its pleasant climate and scenic hilltop views, sits ten miles north of Jerusalem. The name "Ramallah" means "Hill of God," reflecting the blessings of olive groves, fruit orchards, and fertile land in the region. Women in Ramallah were known for their exceptional linen dresses, carefully embroidered with geometric and floral patterns. These patterns adorned both their dresses and headwear, as well as the iconic white Ramallah shawls. In the 1950s, the women of Ramallah established cooperatives to continue the production and sale of embroidered items, inspiring neighboring towns and villages like El Bireh, Birzeit, Aboud, Beit Reema, Qibia, and Budrus to follow suit.
